Keith Alton Photo (“KAP,” “I,” “me”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information I collect through my client galleries (galleries.keithalton.co), my website (keithalton.co), and my wedding site (weddings.keithalton.co), and how I use it.
What I collect
Information you give me directly: your name, email address, phone number, event details, and any messages you send through an inquiry form or email.
Gallery activity: if you view a private gallery, mark favorites, or download photos, the gallery platform records that activity and the email address you used to access it.
Basic technical data: browser type, device, and pages visited, collected through cookies and similar tools.
How I use it
To respond to your inquiries and book and deliver your session or wedding.
To deliver your photos and let you view, favorite, and download them.
To send you updates about your booking. If you opt in to my newsletter, I’ll send you occasional news, tips, and offers. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
To understand how my sites are used and to measure and improve my advertising.
Who I share it with
I don’t sell your information. I share it only with the services that help me run my business, such as Pixieset (galleries, website, and forms), Mailchimp (email newsletters), and advertising and analytics tools like Meta (Facebook/Instagram). These services have their own privacy policies and handle data under their own terms.
Cookies and advertising
My sites may use cookies and tools such as the Meta Pixel to understand visitors and show relevant ads. You can control cookies in your browser settings and opt out of personalized ads through your Facebook and Instagram ad settings.
Your photos
I retain the copyright to the photos I create, and you receive a license to use them as described in your agreement with me. I may display images from your session in my portfolio.
Your choices
You can ask me at any time to see, correct, or delete the personal information I hold about you, or to remove you from my email list. California residents have additional rights under state privacy law, and I’m happy to honor those requests.
Gallery retention and security
Client galleries stay online for 3 months after delivery, so please download your photos within that time. I use reputable platforms with security protections, but no online system is perfectly secure. I keep client contact information for as long as I need it for my business and legal records, then delete it.
Children
My sites are not directed at children under 13, and I don’t knowingly collect their information.
